Kidz Golf USA™ was developed by PGA Class A Golf Professional Christine Regenberg. Christine spent 22 years as Head Women’s Golf Coach at Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin as well as playing on various professional tours. Her career includes serving as Teaching Professional at premiere golf courses in the Midwest and California, including LaQuinta CC, North Shore CC and Cantigny Golf Academy. Christine is now devoting herself to helping our younger United States players develop their golf swings and passion for the game through the Kidz Golf USA program. This innovative teaching style introduces golf fundamentals in a fun and effective manner. You will be amazed at the learning and excitement after just one lesson! Swing fundamentals such as the grip, proper set-up, body rotations, and power secrets are introduced and practiced. Safety, Pace of Play, Golf terminology, Rules of Golf, and Etiquette, are all taught by combining games and drills specifically designed for young ages. The goal is to get kids “playing golf”!  After completion of Level I Certification, players are allowed to play and practice at Longwood Country Club without an accompanying adult.  This proven certification process has allowed thousands of youngsters to enjoy their time playing golf with friends while in a safe and healthy environment.  Participants must pass a basic written test and a practical skills test in order to be Certified”.  Certification courses involve 8 hours of professional instruction at Longwood Country Club.

Level 1: “Certification” Group Lessons
Development of Full Swing, Chipping and Putting. Emphasis is
on Safety, Etiquette, Basic Rules of Golf and Introduction to On-Course Play.
Players will be “Certified” upon passing both a written and skills test. Certified players over 10 years old may play and practice at Longwood Country Club without an adult present.

Level 2: Intermediate Group Lessons
Further development of Full Swing and Short Game techniques. Emphasis is on preparing
a player for playing 9 hole rounds of golf and scoring according to the Rules of Golf.

Level 3: Advanced Lessons
Individual or semi-private lessons are recommended for advanced junior players. Players who are competing, preparing for high school golf or looking to play in college are encouraged to take lessons. Video analysis, Game Management, Mental Coaching and Tournament Preparation are addressed. Call to schedule times.

Kidz Golf USA™ works with boys and girls ages 8-16. Players must be at least 10 years of age to be certified however 8-9 year olds are allowed to take the Certification course. All golf lessons are led by Christine herself along with other PGA and LPGA Class A Teaching Professionals. This guarantees that your child will get plenty of quality instruction. All that is required is that your child has properly fitted clubs and a carry bag including:

  • Driver

  • Fairway Wood or Hybrid

  • 5, 6, or 7 iron

  • 8 or 9 iron

  • Pitching Wedge or Sand Wedge

  • Putter

Equipment can be purchased through ,,, or at local golf stores including Golfsmith, Golf Galaxy, PGA Golf Superstore, and Dicks Sporting Goods. A full set of clubs with bag can be purchased for under $150, however it is very important to have them sized properly.

Kidz Golf USA™ is also tailored to the intermediate and advanced junior golf player who likes tournament competition and has dreams of playing high school, collegiate, or professional golf. Video swing analysis, game management analysis, mental game techniques, tournament preparation and scheduling advice, and college recruiting services are all part of the program designed to help your child achieve his/her dreams. Individual or semi-private lessons are recommended for this level of player.

Junior Golf Rates:

  • 30 Minute Individual Golf Lesson $45 ($85/hour)
  • 30 Minute Semi-Private Golf Lesson $60 ($115/hour)

Adult golf lessons are available too!

  • 30 Minute Adult Golf Lesson $55

  • 45 Minute Adult Golf Lesson $90 (Includes Video Analysis)
